Life for a Kid

Last year Akuma decided to support the charity "Life for a Kid". Life for a Kid Foundation was set up in March 2009 with the aim of helping children under the age of 16 by offering funds and equipment to help them lead a better life, also to help children who require life saving or Life Changing operations.

The Foundation was set up on the back of the fundraising efforts of the Great Britain Rugby League All Stars which we have the pleasure of supplying one of the best liked kits that Akuma have produced.

Grace Pamela Boxing Challenge

Recently we supported the "Grace Pamela" Boxing challenge where we supplied boxing vests for the Amateur Rugby League fighters from East Yorkshire clubs, the event was held at the KC Stadium. The support for Grace and the players from their clubs was incredible and everyone gave generously on the day.

Hull Ionians

Hull Ionians motto is One club, with Two codes as the club caters for both disciplines. We recently took our partner Chris Chudleigh from Sky's School of Hard Knocks - Rugby fame to Hull Ionians where he set up the inflatable cage and did a pre-season training session with the Under 10's. The session was a great success and the kids were inspired by the technical training that they received whilst having a fantastic time. We received great feedback from the coaches and the parents alike.
