About Akuma Rugby

Three BrothersAkuma Sports is a family business, based in Kenilworth, Warwickshire and set up by three brothers, Warwick, Daniel and Thomas Aldersley and later joined by their Aunt, Polly Pithers who heads up Operations.

The rationale for setting up Akuma Sports was based on personal experiences of organising and purchasing kit for many years for a Touring Rugby Team. The experience irrespective of the brand, was always one of great disappointment especially when the kit arrived all too late for its purpose.

Bespoke Designs

Using their talented in-house design team, Akuma has designed some the most talked about kit on the Rugby, Hockey and Polo circuits. Not only are the fit of the shirts unique to all of our Akuma brands (Rugby, Hockey and Polo), the designs are the talk of many tournaments. Using a method of printing called 'sublimation' allows Akuma to replicate any design, in any colour which can only be limited by your imagination!

Fastest Lead Time in the UK

Akuma offers guaranteed delivery in under three weeks! All of our competitors source their bespoke playing kit from China and the Far East with lead times of at least twelve weeks.

Akuma ensures their clients have a positive experience from the moment they enquire, to when their kit arrives individually packed and named for each player.

Made to Measure

Akuma offers a sizing session which eliminates sizing errors. For Clubs, Schools and Universities where logistics don’t allow a rep to visit the club, sizing samples are sent instead.

Akuma loves to show support both on and off the field by showing regular presence at clubs during the season at 1st XV games or Mini and Juniors Festivals.
