In the last few years Akuma has worked with some incredible teams from the Armed Forces and have created some amazing kits. Although there are certain rules that need to be adhered to we have taken the brief and have truly stamped the identity of the Battalion, Regiment, Company, or Garrison, Squadron, Ship or Base to create kits which have become synonymous with their players and their supporters.
Our success has grown from word of mouth and the demand for our products has grown not just in Rugby but across other sports from Hockey, Netball to Penthlon to name just a few.
We recognise that life in the Force can be hectic, time is precious and at any time you can be placed on operations, away on exercise or serving your Country overseas for long periods. So understanding the chain of command, identifying your needs and translating the brief into the creation of your kit are essential. Ensuring that your kit is delivered on time is paramount which is why our 3 week turn around on kit fits well with the demands and pressures on Military life.
This is such an important sector for Akuma that we decided to take on a dedicated Account Manager who understands life in the Military. As an ex service man Adrian served five years and also represented the Army Rugby Union 1st Team, Under 20's and Under 21's as well as combined services.
Adrian will come to your base, listen to your needs, present the range that is right for you, size your team and then come back to you within 24 hours with a design brief and a quote.
