The HSBC Rosslyn Park National Schools Sevens Tournament

After an extensive career playing for various clubs such as Bath and Worcester Warriors, Rugby legend Chris Cracknell played international rugby 7s for England and is now assistant coach of the Olympic gold medal winning Fijian team.

Career highlight?

Winning my first England 7s cap, but obviously also the recent achievements with Fiji at the Olympics.

Why 7s?

I love the physical challenge and the fact you are under great pressure to get everything right. It’s action packed and fast and challenges all of the body’s skillset

Rugby hero?

Zinzan Brooke, I love the way he plays the game. Back in 1995 I watched him nail a drop goal from just within England’s half, and I remember thinking that if a back row forward can do that, then I need to do it.
